Grass Study

I wanted to see what I could come up with making use of the Grass Blades texture on Poliigon.com (https://www.poliigon.com/texture/grass-blades-001)
It uses a few simple planes with the individual blades mapped to them, these were then arranged into a series of clumps and distributed via a particle system.
Material wise, I relied heavily on various noise textures to break up the variation and create 'dying' patches etc.
